World’s Largest Yard Sale – Come visit the World’s Longest Yard Sale along the 127 Corridor! The annual sale always begins the first Thursday in August and continues through the following Sunday of that week. The sale route is along the US highway 127 from Addison, MI to Gadsden, AL. The Allardt Pumpkin Festival – In the small city of Allardt, TN, size does matter when it comes to pumpkins. Since the early 1990s, the community has celebrated the fall season with the Allardt Great Pumpkin Festival. Dozens of pumpkin growers from near and far bring their largest pumpkins to the festival to see if theirs is the biggest around. Spectators can enjoy and participate in non-stop activities and entertainment all day, from costume contests to the pumpkin parade.

York Historic State Park – No other city, town, state or national on Earth can claim “The Most Decorated War Hero of World War I.” We invite you to visit this historic site to pay tribute to one of the most decorated soldiers of World War I. Situated about 9 miles north of Jamestown, TN in Pall Mall, TN, you can visit this soldier’s home, see a World War I trench and go inside the visitor center and the York Mill. Go hiking, fishing, and just relax and cook a homemade meal with the family at one of the 9 picnic areas with grills and tables.
